This is a classic example of why you cannot take anything on face value. 

The article says the city population grew over a ten-year period that included a small portion of the pandemic bullshit timeline.
Actual NYC population number now will show that 800,000+ people have left the city in just the last year and a half - after the census-covering timeline.
