Florida is hard to bake good bread in because of the heat and humidity.
ReplyDeleteIt's why apple strudel is only really good in high-up mountain valleys.
Publix does an okay to pretty damned good job with their breads. So far, they are the best. And I've tried small bakeries, large bakeries and just about everyone else's bakeries. Publix... does it best (for Florida.)
I get Publix' pizza dough. It's as good as any I found in Jersey
