I know you can't hear me but thank you

You died so that we could live in safety and enjoy our freedom, and I'm sorry for what they've done to your country. I'm sorry that so many people don't value your life...

Arlington Cemetery is running out of space. One way officials are looking to address the problem is by limiting the number of service members who will be eligible for burial at the national cemetery.
Last year, Acting Secretary of the Army Ryan McCarthy announced the cemetery’s new eligibility requirements will limit burials to service members killed in action, former POWs, and prestigious figures such as Purple Heart recipients, presidents and vice presidents.
People eligible for aboveground inurnment include World War II veterans, armed forces retirees ineligible for interment, veterans who served a minimum of two years on active duty and who served in combat, and veterans who did not serve in combat but who made “significant contributions” to national security as a government official.
The cemetery will reserve 1,000 empty grave sites for current and future Medal of Honor recipients.

“To keep Arlington National Cemetery open and active well into the future means we have to make some tough decisions that restrict the eligibility. Nearly all of the 22 million living armed forces members and veterans are eligible for less than 95,000 remaining burial spaces within these hallowed grounds,”

90% of the soldiers on the first boats to hit the beach didn't live to see the end of the day. Look at those faces. Some of them never made it to 18. Never voted. Never loved a woman, or owned a home.
They gave their lives fighting Hitler and the Nazis, so today's kids can call everyone they don't like Hitler and Nazis. Think about that.

Whatever happened to Rolling Thunder?

This is Rolling Thunder founder Sgt. Artie Muller. He's pictured here at the start of the Rolling Thunder 2017 Ride/Parade in Washington DC. This guy is a bad-ass in a good way.
600,000 - that's correct - SIX HUNDRED THOUSAND bikers rode to support and remember service members MIA and KIA.
Did you see one single report about this on the news - anywhere - this weekend? I didn't. But I coulda seen four cagillion hours of talking heads talking about talking heads talking about Russian collisions, Trump's taxes, tranny kindergarten kids and other nonsense.
600,000 veterans and patriots and no one gives a shit.
Shame on all of us for allowing the media
to do this to us.

I don't think I'd fit in too well in 'Todays Army'.
