Flip cup is a team-based drinking game where players must, in turn, drain a plastic cup of beer and then "flip" the cup so that it lands face-down on the table. Back in the 70’s we’d play a drinker called Buzz-Ding. First player starts by saying “1”, Player to the left then says “2”, and so on... any number with a 4, or multiple of 4, is counted out as “Buzz” and the direction reverses. Any number with a 7 or multiple of 7, is counted as “Ding” and the direction reverses again. Mess up, you drink. Mess up and don’t get caught? The next guy in line drinks. So it goes CW, 1,2,3, Buzz,(CCW) 5,6,Ding,(CW) Buzz,(ccw)9, 10..... you get the idea.. Never got much past 15 or so if very cloudy memory serves.
