Hillary Clinton says she hopes the GOP will 'find its soul'

Hillary Clinton criticized the current state of the Republican party on Monday, denouncing the GOP for what she described as cultlike allegiance to former President Trump“They’ve done a calculation. They’ve concluded Trump is the puppet master who pulls the strings of the hardcore base of the Republican Party,” the former Democratic presidential candidate said in a Washington Post Live interview. “They’re just throwing the towel in.”

She said she "hopes the party will find its soul, will find its center again and understand they can’t keep playing with fire."
I'm still trying to figure out how this woman is relevant in any way these days. Why can't she just slink away and shut the fuck up?

If the so-called relief bill is signed into law by March 14, the first direct deposits may start hitting bank accounts the week of March 22 and paper checks may be sent out the week of March 29, based on prior relief plans. I wonder how the federal inmates get their checks - deposited anally?

How many votes do they think they can buy with this legislation? Evidently, quite a few.

The new 'Covid Relief' bill will extend and enhance jobless benefits that would last until Sept. 6 and continue to include a $300-a-week boost to benefits.
The first $10,200 of unemployment benefits would be exempt from taxes for the first time to prevent surprise bills for unemployed people at end of the year. The provision applies to households with incomes under $150,000. Nice not-work if you can get it.

  3. Hey Joe -- on the shared birthday thing - It's actually not that unusual. I forget the math now, but IIRC if you have a group of 25 people, there is a 50% chance that 2 share their birthday. Has to be with probability & exponents.
