There is just entirely too much media, right?

It certainly seems like it - and who needs so much different input anyways...

Truth is, I guess it really does serve some purpose, but I'll be damned if I can figure out what that might be.

...

Gettin' awfully busy in the part of the Atlantic they call 'Hurricane Alley', and for good reason.. Did you know there are coconut palms on the beach in the Bay of Donegal in Ireland? That's where the gulf stream ends. Yup - been there seen 'em.

...

...

...

Of course, calling all of it news
is a bit of stretch. Case in point:

(BBC) - The most powerful elected US Democrat, Nancy Pelosi, who scolds President Donald Trump for not wearing a mask, has been pictured without a face covering in a San Francisco hair salon.
Bitch, please. They waste (metaphorical) ink on this silliness?
...

...

A metaphor for every day in my life.

Isn't that kind of a either/or kinda thing?

'I support Joe Biden's pro-science agenda': 81 Nobel laureates endorse Biden for president'

Eighty-one Nobel Prize winners endorsed Joe Biden for president in an open letter on Wednesday, citing the former vice president's "willingness to listen to experts" and his "deep appreciation for using science to find solutions." The Nobel laureates, winners of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry, Medicine and Physics, stressed the importance of elected leaders making decisions based on science, particularly during a global pandemic.

"At no time in our nation's history has there been a greater need for our leaders to appreciate the value of science in formulating public policy," the letter reads. "During his long record of public service, Joe Biden has consistently demonstrated his willingness to listen to experts, his understanding of the value of international collaboration in research and his respect for the contribution that immigrants make to the intellectual life of our country."

Well, fuck me. Now I gotta change my mind about who I'm voting for. Said no one ever.
Why would these eggheads ever think that we - normal motherfuckers like me and you - would ever give a flying rat's ass fuck about who they're voting for?

Fuck these fuckin' elitist jerkoffs.
...

...

I'm caught between wondering how she learned how to do that and why the fuck she'd ever even think to do that in the first place. Either way, it's impressive as shit.
...

Why buy knock-offs when you can get
the originals for almost the same price, right?

This is a great set. Mine is under
my driver's seat in the truck.
Find one like it for yourself here:

This is Wollaton Hall, built in 1580 in England (of course), and is the set for Wayne Manor in Batman, The Dark Knight Rises.

Hep cats if ever there were any...

The bad blood between the Yankees and Rays has been building for years, and it intensified Tuesday night when Aroldis Chapman fired a 101 mph fastball behind Mike Brosseau’s head with two outs in the top of the ninth of the Yankees’ 5-3 win.

The pitch just missed Brosseau, and after the umpires warned both benches, Chapman struck out Brosseau to end the game, a much-needed victory for the Yankees.

I am, by no means, a conspiracy nut, but...
I wonder if anyone else is paying attention to this shit.
...

Serious 'gapage'. I approve.

What exactly the fuck are the other half thinking?

I always thought she was smoking hot.
She got a helluva lotta talent, this chic does.

You know you can use your regular grill as a smoker, right? It's real easy.
Friend of mine showed me how,
but here's an article that explains it better:

These are great to use and a nice selection

Headlines like this beg a number of questions.

For instance:

A) Who gives a fuck?
B) Who would anyone ever think to ask him about this?
C) If they didn't ask him, why did he bring it up?
D) Is this supposed to be some manner of a news item?

...

Think you'll hear about this  on TV or read it in
the mainstream media? Fat fuckin' chance.

When my father was overseas (in the Pacific - on an LST in the Navy) during the war, my Mom & Dad were not yet engaged but my mother wore this pin proudly to keep the wolves at bay.

In her final post on Facebook, Plaskar appeared to allude to mental health struggles. “I love you my friends. My brain is broken and I cannot take it anymore,” she wrote.

I wonder why people think it's important to make a public spectacle or statement about their suicides. Seems to me no matter how they choose to go out, their brains ARE broken somehow.
...

I love new geeky kinda stuff like this.

Buy one and throw it in the glovebox just for the fuck of it.

Sometimes you walk in to a tire store and POOF -
there's the Michelin woman. And there you are.

I don't think I like this kinda
corporate support of shit like this.

That fuckin' guy better have been strapped in somehow.

I'll leave ya with this:

Lake Bogoria in Kenya is home for
hundreds of thousands of pink flamingos.

Ted Wheeler has emailed people living in the building where his $840,000 condo in uptown Portland is located to tell them he is moving out after rioters targeted the neighborhood Monday. Wheeler apologized for 'the fear that you are experiencing due to my position' after BLM activists started fires in the street, let off fireworks, bared music and chanted slogans late into the night (right). It is not the first time that the activists have targeted Wheeler's home.

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy...

Seriously - when's the last time you got YOUR tubes tested?

You have smoke alarms in the house - you should have a stash of batteries and replace them all every two years.

I had no idea Amazon had their own branded batteries, and these have a 10-year shelf life.

MUCH cheaper than Harbor Freight or Walmart
and better quality too.
