It's absolutely impossible for me to believe that so many people think Biden would be a good President...
And I'm not talking about comparing him to Trump or anything else - I'm just talking about him. The fuckin' guy's been in politics for 47 years, and until he got VP-picked by Obama, nobody had ever heard of him.

NYPD charge and arrest BLM protesters standing among diners in Manhattan.
NYPD officers, some in riot gear, arrest a group of protesters in the midst of outdoor diners in the West Village on Saturday night.
The protesters — who were later hit with charges that include disorderly conduct — had been gathered on the sidewalk and a pedestrian island on Hudson Street near 10th Street. Facing them across the street was a large group of bike cops, according to a video of the incident. An automated police announcement warned against restricting pedestrian or vehicular traffic.
It's about time these scumbags start getting what they deserve.

A Street Corner in Rome. We don't do this here.
Kinda sad...

If it wasn't so funny it'd be kinda sad.
“Well I don’t know which Biden is going to show up because I watched him during the debates where they had 20 people on the stage … and he was a disaster, you don’t get worse. He was grossly incompetent. Then I watched him against Bernie and he was okay,” Trump said.
The president said he wondered if Biden’s performances were enhanced in some way.

The Town of Micanopy (mick-ah-No-pee) encompasses 1.03 square miles near the Alachua-Marion County line between Gainesville (home of the University of Forida) and Ocala (the horse capital of the world) in rural north- central Florida. Micanopy is no Metropolis - it only has a population of 594. The town was named for Seminole Chief Micanopy (ca.1780-1849).
Ancient oaks clothed in Spanish moss enfold Micanopy's narrow streets and dirt lanes and provide shade and Southern ambiance for visitors and families that have lived here for generations. Micanopy's appeal is based on its rich, sometimes savage history. Florida's aboriginal records show that Hernando De Soto encountered an early Timucua Indian Village here in 1539 and later, Pennsylvania botanist William Bartram visited a Cuscowilla village on this site in 1774.
Micanopy is the oldest inland town in Florida having been included in a land grant made by the King of Spain in 1817 to Don Fernando del la Maza Arrendondo of Havana and St. Augustine.

In case you think this whole 'big business in bed with politicians' thing is new, this is Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, President Warren Harding and Harvey Firestone sitting around discussing world domination at Harding's Firestone camp in 1921.

President Donald Trump paid no federal income taxes in 10 of the past 15 years, according to a report Sunday in The New York Times. I'm curious how they know this if the guy hasn't made his tax filing public. Ponderous, don'tcha think?

President Trump's Supreme Court nominee was accused of being a racist 'white colonizer' for adopting two black children from Haiti and using them as 'props' while 'cutting the biological parents out of the picture of humanity.'
The controversial charge was leveled at Judge Amy Coney Barrett (seen left with her five biological children and two adopted children) on Saturday by Ibram X. Kendi (right), a Boston University professor. 'Some White colonizers "adopted" Black children,' Kendi wrote on Twitter (inset).
'They "civilized" these "savage" children in the "superior" ways of White people, while using them as props in their lifelong pictures of denial, while cutting the biological parents of these children out of the picture of humanity.'

Following a ridiculously short, fan-less 60-game regular season, the Major League Baseball playoffs will feature an expanded, 16-team field. While the wild-card series will be played at the home fields of the higher seeds, the divisional round, league championship series and World Series will be played in bubble (neutral) locations. Those locations are:
NLDS: Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, and Minute Maid Park in Houston
ALDS: Petco Park in San Diego and Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles
NLCS: Globe Life Field
ALCS: Petco Park

Well you got my curiosity going with the Morgan Fairchild pic. I didn't realize she was already 70!!! And the photo I just saw was recent and she looks to have stood the test of time fairly well. I saw her on a Two and a Half men episode playing a cougar and she looked pretty hot still at that time
ReplyDeleteat least she's older than me...
DeleteThe Pieta was at the 1964 New York World’s Fair and so was I. You got on a moving sidewalk that slowly took you into a pitch black room with the only lights on the Pieta-it was incredible. I think this is one of greatest works of art in history.
ReplyDeleteI saw it there also...
