The new normal starts here today - whatever that is

We will look back on this whole affair
and realize it was the worst mistake ever made.

Or not - we'll see...

At the very least the beaches and parks
are opening up all over Florida.
...

It'll be interesting to see what happens with the restaurants that have bars. They can open with limited capacity regs, and ya can't sit at the bar.
I'll betcha a shitload of people go in and sit at tables just to drink in public again. The muthafuckers better be outstanding tippers.
These wait-staffers really need the dough.
...

The old Gator Joe's deck before they expanded it. They'll be opening back up today and I'll betcha they'll be turnin' 'em away at the doors by 2:00.

...

It's impossible for me to get my head around the fact that this was 50 years ago today.

...

But what he's gonna be able to do -
send them to their room with no supper?

'Personally, I think they made a horrible mistake, and they didn't want to admit it,' he said. Trump said that the federal government is putting together a 'strong' report on the origin of COVID-19 that has infected over a million in the US and killed over 68,000. Last week Trump told reporters that he had seen proof that suggests the virus originated in the lab, but he did not go into detail.
...

This is why more and more people today hate the media.

Watch this jerkoff asking the President of the United States such a ridiculous question you wanna jump through the TV just to beat the shit outta her.

The smug fuck.
...

...

I love the line on the box - 'sold separately'.

...

Need an eye- opener'?

...

We have so much to be thankful for, but in our day to day lives we tend to not be aware of a lot of the little things. Like the fact that we're actually alive. It's a big concept.
...

We lag behind the world in a number of areas, but this one? C'mon guys - pull yer weight, will ya?

We don't even make the top 10? WTF?

The CEO of Southwest Airlines claimed Sunday that it’s safe to fly again despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking on “Face the Nation”, Gary Kelly said the airline had taken extreme measures to ensure passengers would be “as safe as humanly possible.”

“We’re doing everything possible to encourage people to come back and fly,” Kelly said. “We’re cleaning airplanes, we’re requiring masks of our employees and our customers, we’re using very deep cleaning overnight, we’re using electrostatic misters which will kill the virus on surfaces for up to 30 days.”

Buddy of mine flew from Orlando to Kansas City yesterday.
Said their were 12 passengers on the plane.

Speaking of flying - how's this for the 'friendly skies'?

And now  for the REALLY good news...

Meet the deadly meat-eating 'Asian giant hornet'.

It's been known to kill up to 50 people a year in Japan, recently surfaced for the first time in the US in Washington state — and New York City beekeepers say there is no way it won’t make its way here, too.

“I told the NYPD back in 2012 … ‘Your problem is not the bees. This [the murder hornet] is your problem,’ ” recalled retired Police Department beekeeper Anthony “Tony Bees” Planakis. “I showed them a picture of it, and they go, ‘What the hell is that?’ ” Planakis said. “I go, ‘That is an Asian hornet. My suit is useless against that thing.’ ”

Asked if the monstrous insects are dangerous to humans, Planakis added, “Absolutely. Oh, my God.” “Have you seen the mandibles on these things?”

The hornets, the world’s largest at more than 2 inches long, were first spotted in Washington in December, likely having made their way to the US aboard a ship from China, experts said.

These fuckin' people over there really don't like us, do they?
...

...

More than 900 Missouri residents who 'snitched' on lockdown rule-breakers fear retaliation after their details are leaked online. Good - the fuckin' jerkoffs should all get their asses kicked.
...

...

Just in case you were starting to think that New York Mayor Billy Boy DiBlasio wasn't a jerkoff, here's more proof that he is.

They're doing this on his direct order.

...

I have fun with this. I find what I think are interesting/intriguing old B&W photos and colorize 'em - like this one. I do it for myself and do occasionally get one I like enough to have a print made. I did that with this one.
Wuddya think?
...

It's true. I know a lot of people on FB that never ever post anything, but they'll check in a few times a day just to see what other people are saying and doing. That's kinda weird, isn't it?
...

Are Americans turn to hunting amid fears of coronavirus food shortages? Maybe, but in the same line of thinking are they turning in to lumberjacks because they fear wood shortages? Probably not, but it is amazing what the media thins we'll swallow as the truth.
...

This guy's a helluva lot better than I am at coloring old prints.

...

Wuddya say - could you live on a street like this? I definitely could, as long as there was a bar at the end of the street.
...

It really is the truth - if we've learned anything from this
whole fucked-up virus thing, it's this:

We GOTTA stay healthier than we do now.

Now more than ever you should be taking a multi-vitamin.
Centrum is a perfect example of a good one for you.

Buy them here on Amazon much cheaper than you'll find them at Walgreens or CVS.

I don't work out at all, but this how Mike Tyson works out these days?  Jeez.

Trump has shared a video encouraging Mike Tyson as he shows off his boxing skills at the age of 53. Tyson is seen during a powerful sparring session 15 years since his last professional fight and only a week after he said he wanted to make a return to the ring. Trump - who has had a rocky friendship and business partnerships with the star over the past 30+ years - retweeted a clip where Sports Center commented that he was 'still scary'.
...

Nope - didn't catch that one when it was in the theaters.
...

This is just the tip of the iceberg with what's gonna happen up north.

The Osprey nightclub, a summertime staple in Manasquan, New Jersey broke the “heartbreaking” news in a Facebook post. “Due to the expected reduction in capacity and the restrictions already in place as to ‘social distancing,’ it is with much regret that the Osprey will not open for the 2020 summer season,” the post read.

Locals and out-of-towners flock to the Osprey during the summer season for drinks, live music and dancing. Recently, Jersey Shore business owners have expressed growing concerns that if they’re forced to stay closed until June or July — due to Governor Phil Murphy’s executive orders aimed at diminishing the outbreak — they might never reopen again.

The Osprey said the closure would last only for this season. “We will be back to normal in 2021 to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Osprey,” the Facebook post read.

The first time I was in that bar was the summer of '68 - when I was 15.

I lived in that town for 20+ years.

...

...

Ya know, there's still a shitload of stupid
shit yet to come in the next coupla months.

There's gonna be a whole lotta places you won't be able to go to without wearing a mask. Be prepared -  but seriously - you don't have to break the bank doing it.
You can get these masks super fast and for less than a 60 cents apieceThey're in stock and ready to ship.

If ya don't use 'em all they're still great
for around the shop or the jobsite.

...

and with that thought in mind...
