Michael Bloomberg is taking steps to enter the 2020 Democratic presidential campaign.
Bloomberg, 77, has dispatched aides to Alabama to file paperwork in the state to run as a Democrat. The Cotton State doesn't hold an early Democratic presidential primary, but has the earliest filing deadline for the presidential campaign. Taking steps to file paperwork is the most serious signal yet that the former New York mayor and billionaire is seriously planning for a White House run.
The New York Times first reported Bloomberg's plans to file to run in Alabama.

Authorities believe a different employee was preparing the cleaning agent to mop the kitchen floor when he smelled the fumes and immediately fled the building. The man who later died stayed behind to try to mop the cleaning solution out of the back of the restaurant, Patterson said.
Police and fire are conducting an investigation into the incident. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has also been notified. The Buffalo Wild Wings location remained closed Thursday night.

The president’s son was a guest on the ABC show Thursday morning ahead of his appearance at 3 p.m. Saturday at Barnes & Noble at Lake Sumter Landing to promote his book, “Triggered: How The Left Thrives On Hate And Wants To Silence Us.”
The president’s eldest son faced some direct questioning from Meghan McCain, daughter of the late U.S. Sen. John McCain. She asked about candidate Trump’s denigration of a Gold Star family during the campaign.Trump Jr., with girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle seated next to him at the famed television table, wasn’t afraid to defend his father and took it right back to McCain, who was wearing a gold necklace bearing her family’s name.
“Part of being president is having a pair… My father’s got a pair. No sitting president has taken the heat that President Trump has,” he said.

Do you carry a pocket knife like I do?
I've had this same knife (actually the one I have now is the fourth one I've had) since I went in to the Boy Scouts at 13. My dad bought me it for my birthday that year. 53 years later I'm still carrying it, and I find a use for it nearly every single day of my life. I once broke the blade and called the company to find out hot to send the knife back to Schrade. They said 'don't bother' and they sent me a brand new one no charge - they replaced it for me for free!
Anyway - if you don't carry a pocket knife like this, start now. I highly recommend it.
