Monday Shmunday...

Where do I begin?

I could have started this post a million different ways, but when it comes down to it, Sophia wins.

Thomas Cook goes belly-up

The airline is a major carrier for Europeans travelling to Disney nearby here in Orlando

About 600,000 travelers are stranded around the world after British tour operator Thomas Cook collapsed last night. The 178-year-old company entered liquidation after talks on a financial rescue failed, so all flights and vacations booked through it have been canceled. With so many people stranded, the British government is working to bring many of them home to the UK, in what's being called the largest peacetime repatriation in the country's history.

These poor bastards just can't
get a break.

I lived for 10 years on St. John. Storms like this are an annual affair down there.

Tropical Storm Karen will bring heavy rain and gusty winds to Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands early this week, but it's too soon to know if it will eventually affect any other land areas, including the mainland United States.

Karen is centered more than 100 miles west of St. Vincent in the Windward Islands and is moving northwest at 5 to 10 mph.

The storm will probably reach where I live by the end of the week. Great.

The Emmy's were last night.

Whoever this chick is that's what she wore to the award ceremony.
I wonder  if anyone had the balls to tell her how fucking stupid she looks.

In the land of make-believe I guess these things are important.

Personally, I couldn't give a shit about this if they were all naked.

Barely moved the needle.

  1. I hate to tell Missy at the Emmys she's wearing that dress backwards. (Although it doesn't look like it really matters.

And yes, "Sophia" wins every time. Even this one:
