I can't believe this was in Oregon, and not here in Florida...
Found this report on Fakebook - In Oregon, a police chase took an unbelievable turn when a man driving a stolen car crashed into… another stolen car driven by a completely different person.
Officers were chasing Randy Lee Cooper, who had stolen a Toyota Land Cruiser, when he slammed into another vehicle at an intersection. But here’s the kicker the second driver, Kristin Nicole Begue, was also behind the wheel of a stolen car, and under the influence.
Both were arrested, leaving police stunned at the coincidence.
Two stolen cars. One crash. Zero luck.

Somewhere out there, the universe was definitely saying: “Not today.”
Kamala say voters should be able to vote before they get laid. Or something like that...
According to a report, during a recent interview, Harris laid out her beliefs and explained the “fear” she claimed the younger generation is experiencing:
"I think we should reduce voting age to 16. I’ll tell you why. So, Gen Z, they’re aged about 13 through 27. They’ve only known the climate crisis. They missed substantial parts of their education because of the pandemic. If they’re in high school or college, especially in college, it is very likely that whatever they’ve chosen as their major for study may not result in an affordable wage. They’ve coined the term ‘Climate anxiety’ to describe fear of not only being able to buy a home but fear it will be wiped out by extreme weather, but fear of having children. It is expected that Gen Z will have ten to 12 jobs in their lifetime. They are a larger number than boomers."
"They are rightly impatient with a lot of what is the tradition of leadership right now. And if they were able to vote, because they know everything that’s happening right now is gonna impact them more than anybody older than them for the most part…
If they’re voting right now at 16 and up, they’re gonna be talking about the importance of climate, they’re gonna be talking about the importance of figuring out how AI is gonna affect the future of the workforce, they’re gonna be focused on what are we really doing about affordable housing."
Wow. That may be the single largest bucket of shit she's ever uttered.
How can anyone top something like that?

Reason number 32 why Florida is a great place to live right now...
Florida has palm trees, plenty of sunshine (ergo the slogan 'Sunshine State'), an estimated 825 miles of sandy beaches and low taxes, but now it most likely will get even better. Governor Ron DeSantis has taken a bold stand for homeowners by proposing a major overhaul of the state's property tax system. His plan, which seeks to exempt homestead properties (meaning - if Florida is your primary residence) from all property taxes except those for schools, would effectively end the "rent" homeowners pay to the government.
Set to take effect in 2027, this initiative is designed to provide significant financial relief to Florida homeowners, ensuring that their hard-earned money stays in their pockets.
This move is a direct challenge to the status quo and a clear commitment to reducing government overreach. We're very happy with the leadership we have.

The single greatest Halloween costume of the year. Without question...
One of the coolest things about living he in Florida is exactly that. Our Governor has come out and publicly stated that if you are in your vehicle and are 'threatened' in any way by any demonstrator, you have every right 'to defend yourself in any manner you feel appropriate to the situation' (my interpretation). DeSantis did not directly say Floridians can "drive over" or "run over", but taking the full context of his quote into consideration, it is accurate to summarize his comments as such. That's how, I guess, that guy interpreted it - ergo the costume. Just fuckin' brilliant. Well played indeed...

Is there no 'comeupance' for this?
Federal authorities said Thursday at least 46 undocumented workers were arrested during a sweeping Department of Homeland Security (DHS) operation at a freight warehouse in Avenel, New Jersey, Wednesday. Law enforcement personnel carried out the inspection at a federally authorized container freight station as part of an ongoing campaign to ensure compliance with immigration regulations.
At the warehouse, agents discovered 46 undocumented laborers, roughly 22% of the onsite workforce, officials said. All 46 suspected illegal aliens were escorted into federal custody, where they now await immigration proceedings, according to the DHS.
Here's my question: While these law enforcement guys are there and they round up all the illegals, why don't they in to the personnel offices and find out who hired all the fuckin' wetbacks, and drag his or her ass out in cuffs also? Is it not some kinda crime to hire these people? 'Cause if there ain't one, somebody on the Hill should sure as fuck be working on one. Juss' sayin'...
Why can't Halloween be like when we were kids?
I seriously doubt if we'll ever see anything like what
we remember anymore. It's kind of a shame really...
I'm really talking about the 50's and early 60's - when I was a kid - when damm near every street in every neighborhood would look like this from just after school got out until sometime around dark. Bear in mind we're of that infamous baby-explosion post-war boomer generation when every family you knew had at least three or four kids. There was more trust and considerably less worry coming from our parents. I mean fuck, they were happy to get rid of us for a few hours. Certainly different times. Impossible to recreate anymore, I reckon...

I lived right around the corner from the tennis courts. The area identified in this is Branch Brook Park in Newark (and a little bit of Bellevile), New Jersey.
I actually took this picture about 40 years ago from the window of a plane I flew out of Newark Airport - which, by the way - is not in Newark.
Juss' so's ya know...

Glen Beck did a great analysis of the big switcharoo on Gates' reversal on the whole global warming/climate change fuckin' nonsense. According to Beck, this reversal has more to do with the energy requirements of Gates' AI shit than it does anything else. Makes sense coming from a one-world, two faced, technology thief like Gates, don't it? Well done, Glen. I like that show.

That park is one of my favorite places anywhere (for private reasons), and it's been a shithole for the past 20 years with all this open-air drug market and weekly protest bullshit going on, and nobody has done shit about it. If ya don't know the area, it's in The Village adjacent to the main NYU campus, but it is in a basically residential area.
It's about friggin' time they cracked down on the crap. Is it because of Trump or because that jerkoff Deniro's grandson OD'd there the other day? Who cares - as long as they return it to it's previous glory.

I regret profoundly that I was not an American and not born in Greenwich Village. It might be dying, and there might be a lot of dirt in the air you breathe, but this is where it’s happening.

We had a kid like this is our neighborhood - I guess there mighta been one in every neighborhood. Anyway, Pat Kennedy - him - was always a little to the left of center brain-wise, but a nice kid. He dressed a little weird, didn't need friends to have a good time, and danced with the music in his head. Anyway, the day Pat turned 18 he enlisted in the Army, and six months later he was dead. I never heard the definitive story, but word was he was in 'Nam and killed his command sergeant and then himself. Guys like him rarely have good endings, ya know?

Mallard's 'cheap & easy' final costume suggestions? Maybe...
Is this even possible in such a 'Blue State'? You guys still up there better get out and vote...
The poll is a boost for Ciattarelli in the final days of the campaign - showing he has wiped out the 20-point lead that Sherrill boasted this summer. The race is so close that turnout will likely decide the outcome, and early voting in the State has been seen as 'vigorous'. My friends still living there better hope this guy gets in, because Mikey Sherrill is worse than an empty suit. In all of her time in Congress she hasn't done a single fucking thing of note, and she votess 110% with Dims, so you know how that'll go if she is elected - it'll be four more years duplicating Murphy's disastrous time in office...
