There's monsters under the bed!

A babysitter found a man hiding under a child's bed in Kansas after the child complained about a "monster" being there. While trying to show the child there was nothing under the bed, the female victim "came face-to-face" with a male suspect, Barton County Sheriff's Office said. An altercation ensued with the babysitter and one child was knocked over.

The suspect fled and was found and arrested on the same block the next morning, on Tuesday, after leading deputies on a short foot chase. The 27-year-old, who once lived at the residence and had a protection from abuse order to stay away from the property, was booked into jail on requested charges of aggravated kidnapping, among other crimes.
