The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) subcommittee announced that it is going to war with National Public Radio (NPR) and the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS). In two letters sent to the CEOs of the outlets - Katherine Maher and Paula Kerger - Marjorie Taylor Greene, the DOGE subcommittee chair, called on them to testify on Capitol Hill to defend the government funding they use to share 'systematically biased content.'
Greene said that the department plans to address its concerns about the station's 'blatantly ideological and partisan coverage' at the hearing, scheduled for either the week of March 3 or March 24.
NPR, especially, has been spewing left-wing bullshit for the last 20 years, and under the newest leadership (the President of NPR is a very proud lesbian, by the way, not that that makes a difference). Someone did a study of NPR's coverage vis-a-vis Biden/Trump in the last four years. For Biden, it was 94% positive, and for Trump? A mere 12% was not negative - note I did not say positive. This shit has to stop or the well should go bone dry for them on public (Federal) funding. Fuck 'em...
PBS has become so sanctimoniously far-left-"Woke" that it's now almost unwatchable. Even the British shows on PBS Masterpiece Theater have become insultingly far-left-"Woke." I hope the committee roasts those two propagandists, gets them sacked, and gets them replaced with chiefs who will have those taxpayer-funded outfits broadcast no more far-left/"Woke" fare.
