I don't play golf - at least not anymore - because why try to do something on a regular basis that I genuinely suck at, but that's a story for another day.
There are currently 14 championship courses here in the Villages, with a few more planned or already under constreuction. The Villages has announced plans for 1 more 27 hole and 1 more 18 hole courses. There are 10 courses that have 27 holes (3 nines) and 4 courses have 18 holes.
There are presently 42 executive courses in The Villages with 2 more announced. Each executive course is 9 holes.
How many executive holes of golf are in the Villages?
There are currently 378 total executive golf holes with plans for 18 more, even more if you count pitch and putts.
How much does it cost to play the executive courses?
Residents can play executive courses for a trail fee of $4 per 9 hole round or purchase a yearly trail pass for $136. In total ,there are now 720 holes of golf available for play every day.

Golf. My mom was a military champion golfer. Helped start and run many tournaments on military bases. In a later time, she would certainly have been in the WPGA winning big bucks. As it is, she won enough silver stuff to rival Bunker Hunt for cornering the market. I never got the bug but did take lessons as a kid. Seems I was pretty darned good.
