While "8 glasses a day" is totally made up - no scientificl basis at all - "drink when you're thirsty" is ALSO bad advice in general. Older adults in particular may not drink as much as they should, in part because they don't feel thirsty. Anyone in a hot, dry climate may underestimate water needs (ask your Marine...). "Eight a day" is approximately right, despite the fake science. It's pretty damn hard to overload on water; not impossible - but that risk is insignificant compared to the risk of inadequate intake.
ReplyDeleteI grew up in the desert, and what you say is true about it being too easy to dehydrate. I now live in a humid climate. I've been surprised how easy it is to dehydrate on a hot, humid day.

ReplyDeleteWhy do you say 75,000,000 as if it is true? All we know is that Trump managed to get enough counted votes to win. His vote total, just like hers, is complete BS. His REAL TOTAL I likely WAY HIGHER and hers is likely WAY LOWER.
