Let's see: COVID, the economy, his son's business deals, what else could he have lied to us about?
Biden has for years flatly denied interacting with his relatives’ foreign business associates — a contention further debunked this week as newly released photos show him meeting two of first son Hunter Biden’s business associates in China while he was vice president.
He was the focus of a rare House impeachment inquiry into whether he inappropriately enriched his family in countries where he held sway as vice president — with that probe ending shortly after he abandoned his re-election bid this summer with an August report concluding he abused his power. The question of Biden’s degree of involvement in foreign dealings now is largely academic, as he and his family are no longer expected to play a significant role in American foreign policy following his retirement on Jan. 20.

Progress against homelessness was made from 2010 to 2017 (637,000-554,000), according to the report, but spiked under Biden’s watch to 770,000 in 2024, the largest annual increase since the count began in 2007.
“Some communities reported data to HUD that indicated that the rise in overall homelessness was a result of their work to shelter a rising number of asylum seekers coming into their communities.”
... Some crazy dame in Brazil cooked up a scheme to knock off her family, and now the cops want to dig up her dead husband to see if she killed him also. Ahhh, family, can't live with 'em, can't kill 'em...

The question you have to ask is why are those photos only surfacing NOW, and not 4 or more years ago?
ReplyDeleteAnd if Biden had not dropped out and had won, would they still have been surfacing?
DeleteBob Menendez's only mistake was how he structured the bribe pass off. The socially acceptable was for a politician to receive a bribe is:
ReplyDelete(a) Create a charitable foundation (employing your family, of course). Might have to actually spends up to 3% on the real charity, but that's about the same as credit card processing charges.
(b) Book deals. Hillary used this one, but was careful to ensure the payment happened before she took the oath of office. Since it was before, the Senate ethical office couldn't get involved.
(c) Speaking fees.
(d) Children as board members of the company providing the bribe. Hunter brought this one to light, might be less usable as a result for three to five years.
Former senate majority leader Harry Reid had his children create companies and then had legislated set asides funneling money to his children's companies. When asked about, old Harry said something to the effect of "someone is going to profit from it, might as well be my kids."
