Looking back over the entire history of our country, I - and it's probably not
just me - cannot imagine a presidential race that is as critical and important as today's. Looking back four years, that election in 2020 was a critical turning point for us, and the damage done by the bad decisions made that day will impact the nation for a very long time.
If this ship isn't righted and set on a new course, the country as we know it - and we as a free people - may well be gone forever. And not 'Juss' sayin''...

Dixville Notch has historically voted at midnight in the presidential election with only a handful of registered voters casting their ballot. In 2016, just eight voters participated in the tradition, while only five participated in 2020. This year came down to an even six that split 50/50 for the two candidates: three for Kamala Harris and three for Trump. There's an article on Breitbart if you want to read it...

In 2016, there were 120,000 more registered Demorats than Republicans in Florida. Fast forward to 2024, Republicans have 500,00 more registered voters than the Dems.

In the study that I read, along with a number of other journals and published articles on this subject, they pretty much all point to one specific thing that they think is behind the increase in cases - processed foods. That's ready-to-eat meals, prepared menu items and pretty much any fresh or frozen prepped food items that more and more people are eating nowadays, instead of cooking for themselves.
Thankfully, I love to cook AND I'm allergic to MSG in any of it's myriad forms, so the only prepared food that eat is pretty much only Mary Kitchen Corned Beef Hash, which I actually doctor up on my own, adding more potatoes, peppers and onions so that I'm only using the hash as a base for what I make. By the way, Mary Kitchen hash usta be called Hormel Hash, and before that it was Broadcast. Jussa FYI...
... like this up just to make money. Back in the day, when I was a fully robed (and thankfully non-molested) altar boy, one of my duties in the church was when nobody was in the curch to go up to the racks and racks of candles they had set up, and blow them all out, so they'd last longer for the rest of the suckers who'd come in a light one in the hopes that their stage-seven cancer ridden uncle would be cured, or some other bullshit.

RE: Dicksville Notch vote: Gotta maintain that 52-48 percent illusion to validate the steal later on tonight.
ReplyDeleteYou may have had to blow out the candles, but at least you didn't have to polish the knobs!
