There's an upside to almost everything, right?

There's something to be said about being lazy
and not making your own food...

It seems like every week we hear about another recall of some prepared food or other. The upside is that they (whoever they are) monitor this shit close enough that they catch shit like this most of the time before it starts killing people. Ya see, I'm lucky in a way. I'm allergic to MSG and any thing else you wanna call it - hydrolized vegetable protein, spices, etc. Because of that, I never eat prepared foods of any kind. My one indulgence that's 'sorta prepared'? Mary Kitchen corned beef hash, because ya gotta cook the shit out of it before ya eat it.

Now that kinda makes ya think, don't it?

And Breitbart is reporting that another 25,000 people just passed through the The DariĆ©n Gap - the jungle area between Panama and Columbia heading towards the States. We have that much advance notice of these large groups coming towards the States and you're gonna tell me there's NOTHING we can do to stop them in their tracks? WTF is wrong with our leadership?

Wolfspeed - a company you never heard of -  is set to receive $750 million in government grants for its new North Carolina silicon carbide wafer manufacturing plant facility. That's your money they just gave away...

That's not education - it's indoctrination.

  2. The Indians sharing with illegal aliens is supposed to be a slam against those opposed to illegal immigration. But what happened to the Indians? Maybe if they had been able to enforce their borders they wouldn't be consigned to reservations.

  3. I lived way up where I-87 was called the Adirondack Northway. Two lanes narrower, and nowhere near as well maintained. But it did have emergency phones every mile in the no-cell/CB region between the mountains.
