Giusepp', I grew up in Jersey City. Judging from your various posts, I was born about two years before you were. Back in the day I enjoyed having several friends from Down Neck (you oughta know where that is!). During one semester around 1970 I did a little volunteer teaching at Newark's No. 5 School for the developmentally disadvantaged. Before FM rock stations came along my main radio man was Cousin Bruce Morrow on 77-WABC, but I also dug Dan Ingram, Scott Muni, and the rest of those "All-Americans." But, for my money, no other deejay ever came close to Alison Steele "The Nightbird." It's good too visit your site, man; I enjoy doing that several times a day - and night, too, so thank for running your uniquely entertaining web show for me and the rest of your visitors.
