New Smyrna Beach is a small, cute little town about 90 minutes due east of where I live. Babs and I go there at least a couple times a year for a coupla days at a time and always have a good, somewhat slightly drunken, fun time. I gotta tell ya though, I do not go in the ocean here in the States after living so many years in the Caribbean (they just don't compare so why bother) so this news about this town doesn't effect me in any way beyond the body removals being a spectator sport...
