This guy has been a party-line political hack from the first day he set foot in the Senate. I wonder if that was the same courtroom where DJT went through the sham of a trial he had to deal with - that will absolutely be overturned in appeal. Menendez will appeal, but it'll be upheld.
Anyway, the Post reported this afternoon - the minute he was convicted - that New Jersey Sen. Robert Menendez was found guilty Tuesday of accepting hundreds of thousands of dollars of bribes — including 1-kilogram gold bars — in exchange for using his powerful post to enrich and protect three businessmen and the Egyptian and Qatari governments.
Menendez, 70, wearing a blue suit and pink tie, sat with his head bowed at the defense table and kept a poker face while the jury forewoman read the word “guilty” 18 times, for each count that he and his two co-defendants faced.
By the way, in case you forgot:
i hope they lock him up with jang-a-lang
ReplyDeleteI wonder how long before Menendez starts ratting people out.
ReplyDeleteFinally !!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have no doubt he'll get re-elected. NJ is that fucked up.
ReplyDeleteSomething is up within democratic democracy. This is one of the first times a democrat has been found guilty of democratic democracy. Dear old Joe would be trembling in his boxers if he still had a lick of sense.
ReplyDeleteI detect a strong urgency towards suicide - perhaps assisted.
