Voting the lesser of evils isn't the best idea anyone's had...

FEMA was created as a federal Agency to respond to natural disasters like hurricanes or earthquakes — disasters with major and obvious damage to physical infrastructure. But the agency has not historically responded to extreme heat, because it only rarely happens , and besides - that's why Mr. Carrier did what he did.
Nowadays, everybody wants big government to bail them out and pay for shit - basically cradle-to-grave. A coalition of 'environmental nonprofits' (someone please explain what that is supposed to be), labor unions, health professionals and 'environmental justice groups' (they just keep making this shit up, don't they?) is asking the agency to change that. In a petition filed Monday, the coalition asks FEMA to add extreme heat and wildfire smoke to the list of disasters to which they respond.

Scientists working in the emerging field of epigenetics have discovered the mechanism that allows lived experience and acquired knowledge to be passed on from one generation to the next by altering the shape of a particular gene. This means that an individual’s life experience doesn’t die with them but endures in genetic form. Holy fuck.

A New Jersey police department will begin issuing citations to the parents of unruly juveniles in light of recent crimes involving underage visitors in towns along the famous Jersey Shore. The Wildwood Police Department announced last week that it will enforce a city ordinance that allows officers to intervene when an unsupervised juvenile is “engaging in any behavior that is unlawful, puts their safety at risk, or if they ignore lawful commands from officers attempting to keep them safe” from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
As a side note, anyone who's ever been on the Wildwood boardwalk knows that ubiquitous recording 'Watch the tram car, please'. I'm so old I remember when it cost a dime to hop on and ride. Now it's $ 3.00. Juss' sayin'...

I'm thinking they're letting him off the hook because
he did everyone a favor by helping kill that rat fuck.
That's just my observation, of course...

  1. Cut McKinnon's sentence, then blast his name to everyone as the lookout. Really smart there.
