According to news reports, donors motivated by the historic guilty verdict in Trump’s Manhattan hush money trial gave an astonishing $53 million in the 24 hours after the verdict was read on May 30 — accounting for 37.6% of the total for the month.
The Trump campaign has not released the amount of cash on hand it had at the end of last month, which it is not required to report until July.
Trump’s team and the RNC outraised Biden and the DNC in April as well, when they brought in $76 million to the Democrats’ $51 million.
