    If I looked up every early John Wayne movie and found Marsh Hunt, is that cheating?

    I think the actress is Margueritte Churchill, and the movie is The Big Trail, made in 1930. I looked it up on IMDB, so by your standards I might have cheated. If so, feel free to not post this comment.
