I knew it was cold, but damn, son...

Does 'climate change' factor in to arctic blasts?
Asking for a friend...

I had no idea that almost the entire state of Texas got that friggin' cold. I wonder if they'll still be swimming the Rio Grande in freezing temps.

And don't think we're excluded from all of this fun.

These results may actually be a better result for my Gubernator than they are for DJT, simply because he - the former and soon-to-be-again President was expected to run way in front of the pack.
Excerpted from theguardian.com - With an estimated 99% of the vote counted, Trump was on 51%, DeSantis 21.2%, and Haley 19.1%. The former president smashed the previous record margin of victory in a competitive Republican presidential race in the state, which stood at 12 percentage points.
Florida Governor DeSantis campaigned in traditional Iowa fashion, visiting all 99 counties, in the hopes that voters there would reward him as they have candidates in the past. Meanwhile Haley, the former South Carolina governor, had been seen as Republicans’ most moderate choice, with a better chance to beat Joe Biden in the general election than the candidates to her right.
DeSantis could see more momentum in his campaign after the surprisingly strong showing, albeit a distant trail to Trump’s commanding lead. "They threw everything but the kitchen sink at us,” he said, speaking to supporters in Des Moines at the end of the night. Haley comes off as just a little too severe for my tastes. Juss' sayin'...

The Copper Electric Town Car was unveiled in 1975.  The concept came on the heels of a 3-year government funded program to make electric cars a viable alternative to gas-powered vehicles. I musta been stoned or something when this came out 'cause I don't remember ever hearing about it at all. Then again, I was a little more heavily focused on getting high and getting laid back then, so I mighta missed the news blip. My bad...

Honest to god ya gotta be a different kinda person than me to live anywhere where it gets that cold. My blood is way too fuckin' thin to deal with that shit anymore...

Wheel contestant Tarhea has been slammed online for failing to answer a simple
word puzzle. She was given the letters 'BAGELS & ___G_N_TS' and failed. The hopeful contestant started to guess as she said: 'bagels and beignets,' then 'bagels and croissants,' but failed to come up with the correct answer - which was 'bagels and doughnuts.' Host Pat Sajak then showed Tarhea that she missed out on winning a BMW as she threw her head back and stomped her feet, visibly upset with her huge loss.

  1. Unless DiSantes harbors VP ambitions, I would say it's over for him....Haley is looking for a job, so nothing will distract her....New Hampshire Republicans is a contradiction in terms....

  5. At least this will stop the warming crowd. But it is climate change they seem to sing. I am in the Midwest so we have had winter this last week. Course I remember a 45 day run where we where below zero n this state.
