I don't get it. Lifelock doesn't claim no one will find and use your social security number. Their advertising says that you will KNOW when it happens, and that they will take action to remedy the problem. So the CEO's SSN was found out by scammers, the CEO was alerted, and did take action to combat the fraud. How in hell does that constitute misleading advertising? Now, I think the Lifelock product is overpriced and easily duplicated if not surpassed (just block your credit reporting and use good practices like strong passwords and regular account reviews), but in fact Lifelock works fine. Anyone who thinks they guarantee no identity theft hasn't read the ads or the website. They guarantee you'll KNOW. That's it. If I were that company, I'd appeal.
