Perspective's a bitch - and if you're bitch to start with, well the there you are...

Mortgage rates are approaching 9%. Gas is still way too expensive.
My electric bill for last month for a 1,300 sq. ft. house while not using A/C at all was $ 170.00. Chicken breasts at the stupid market are $ 3.99 a pound or more.
Cigs are nearly ten bucks a pack (and that's cheap vs. other states)  and a Heineken in any bar for under $6.00 is all but impossible to find but please, tell me again how strong the economy is, Mz. Pierre whateverthefuck...

This is a friggin' painting. Why on earth would anyone
pay for a painting of a friggin' TV dinner? And probably pay like tens of thousands of dollars for it to boot? Perspective's a bitch and value is relative. Juss' sayin'...

Call me a skeptic but I think these numbers are cooked.

On October 28, 1953, Red Barber resigned as the Brooklyn Dodgers broadcaster and took the ‘catbird’ seat with the rival New York Yankees. The ‘Old Redhead’ left the team because he was upset with Brooklyn owner Walter O’Malley, who refused to support him when he failed to get a higher fee from Gillette, the sponsor of the 1953 World Series on television.

The protestors had crossed over the Brooklyn Bridge, with some scaling the landmark, earlier this evening before making their way to Union Square in the heart of the city. Once there, footage shows a group of individuals scaling a statue of George Washington as others chanted 'Allahu Akbar' and 'long live Hamas'. A large number also carried Palestine flags, wore keffiyehs, and placards that said: 'Biden is funding genocide' and 'occupation is a crime .'

"And they say there's a heaven for those who will wait.
Some say it's better, but I say it ain't.I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints. The sinners are much more fun..."

Tell me you didn't just sing that to yourself.

This I just do not get. Granted, home prices pretty much everywhere but in the big cities went up because of covid (for god knows what reason) but this has me shaking my head. WTF could be the attraction in Boise friggin' Ohidaho?
Data from property platform Redfin shows that the median cost of a home in Idaho's capital Boise is now $515,000. It marks a drop from their peak of $583,000 in May 2022 but remains well above the $333,029 cost in December 2019.

Seriously - what's not to like about that? Juss' sayin'...

  1. "The Best Years Of Our Lives." Great movie. Myrna Loy was an absolute angel.

  2. Idaho real estate prices are skyrocketing because Californians are fleeing their Democrat lunatic bin. We have some of the reddest politics around. Plus, a whole lot of peace and quiet.

Not too hard to figure out.

"The Best Years of Our Lives" is a classic for all time. It hits close to home with me. My dad was a B-17 pilot and flew 35 combat missions with this group--

  4. Concerning that BLS graph: There's a lot of hoo-raw about the blue line crossing the orange line after almost three years of Biden economic policy.

  6. Clearly the cartoonist has the same faulty perspective as the donkey artist. Another Biden blind apologist. He must be wealthy and inflation doesn't bother him. Another "let them eat cake" moron.

He may have gotten the most votes, but look around you...

Yes, he won. He won by a lot. He even broke every record  there was for ANY Presidential candidate, so yeah. It's something to celebrate...
