WFLA - A drunk man was arrested in Florida for pelting Walgreens employees with Snickers bars, according to police. Noy Idel was angered when employees at the Clearwater location refused to sell him a box of cigarettes, according to arrest documents obtained by WFLA. Idel was "highly intoxicated" at the time, police said.
He allegedly “became irate and threw Snickers bars” at the manager's face. Another employee came over and told Idel to leave the store. Idel responded by throwing “several Snickers bars” at the second employee's chest.
Idel later told police that he was not trying to throw the candy bars at the employees, “but surveillance footage showed that Idel was very intentional where he directed the Snickers bars.” Police arrested Idel on a battery charge. His bond was set at $500.
