What's the big deal about 'Rich Men North of Richmond'?

I guess he's bitching about how 'Bidenomics' isn't
working like they're telling us. Okay...

  1. well, I think it is because he says what everyone has been thinking. he not wrong, you know. the clowns in DC are the root of a lot of our problems in this country today. add in the FED and the dollar not worth 1/10 of what it was back in 1970. and how many times have you seen someone pay for a basket full of junk food with a EBT card ?. I lost count before I moved away from philly. hell even kids starting high school now know the game is rigged against them. and after all just look at what happen with a outsider in DC did in 4 years. and it took less than a year to change it all. dave in pa.

  3. Pretty certain all the wrongs in this country go right back to the rich men/women north of Richmond down DC way....problem is, blacks, suburban housewives, and po folks are brainwashed to vote democrat, so it aint' changing any time soon, if at all....we had a guy in there who wanted to make America great again, but the majority evidently wanted that shithead biden and his crooked fucking fellow dems and family with chuck the fuck schumer ruling the senate...biden has been scamming us since 1973....amazing how a dumbass like him can get away with it for so long...thank you Delaware....

  4. I think the song has what you all three said down. I am from a lower middle class white family. My family was poor when I was born and got better. I was born late compared to the rest and was born in the late 50s. When each of us graduated HS we were shown the door.

In 75 I was the last and I was shown the door and hired into the phone company to live and pay for college. I worked in the worst areas of Los Angeles, the Black Slums of South Central LA. I was on multiracial crews and the areas were open warfare. They never recovered from the riots 10 years before. There were often shootings and killings. People were on welfare and food stamps, but had much more then I ever had growing up. This is what the song meant when he said the person was "taxes ought not to pay for your bags of fudge rounds." I ended up graduating college and working hard as my Dad taught.
