The weed business is in the weeds...

Across the US, the legalized marijuana industry is buckling under the strain of plunging prices, patchwork state regulation, and burdensome taxes, analysts and industry groups say.
'All of these issues are chipping away at the health of the industry to the point where I would describe the industry as in crisis in the United States,' Beau Whitney, senior economist for the National Cannabis Industry Association, told DailyMail.com this week. 'This is unsustainable from an economic perspective.'
Currently, the recreational use of cannabis is legal in 23 states, and last year state-regulated medical and recreational pot sales topped $26 billion nationwide, according to Vangst.
So what's the moral of this story? The only reason the shit got legalized was because scumbag politicians saw the taxable revenue stream and jumoed right in. It's been a tax gig from day one, you jackasses.

Don't lose your weed guy Sal's phone number - yer gonna need it when all these so-called legit places go bust from Uncle sucking the life blood out of 'em. Juss' sayin'...

  1. What fantastic news! I am all for ZERO intoxicants in this once great nation. We have lost our moral compass and seem to be heading into the swamp of the Third World $hithole countries.

  2. I don’t need a weed guy anymore. I grow my own and it’s much better and safer than getting it somewhere else.

  3. And the best part is all the guys who invested in legal weed businesses, who are losing their shirts. Idiots one and all. Several pitched me to invest; not one could answer why they'd be viable IN THE FACE OF illegal competition paying no taxes, no store rent, etc. One and all assumed the corner pusher would just quit...

    1. yeah, had a few people ask me to "invest" in it as well. but my dad is from eastern KY. hill country. they still make shine down there. not as much as they used too. anyway. I knew the illegal side would always be cheaper than the taxed stuff. and they also grow pot down there. some guys make a good living doing it.
last time I smoked any of that stuff was back in the 1990's with some girl. she got a buzz, all I got was a massive headache. dave in pa.
