ReplyDeleteDestructive wildfires in Hawaii have been documented many times in the past century. The problem has gotten worse in the past 40-50 years because -like California- the government fails to take action on a common problem. Lahaina is sad, entirely predictable, and will result in no changes except increased taxes and graft.
