Budweiser is facing a new boycottby PETA over horse cruelty claims...

Here's a match made in hell - PETA has called on Kid Rock to help end the "mutilating of Clydesdale horses" by Budweiser...

Think he'll jump on board with this? The animal rights group sent a letter to the country musician asking him to stop serving the beer in his Big Ass Honky Tonk & Rock 'n' Roll Steakhouse in Nashville, Tennessee, as a form of protest against what it says is a cruel treatment of the iconic horses.
Budweiser has used the horses in its marketing campaigns for years, but PETA claimed it "quietly severs the magnificent horses' tailbones—either with a scalpel or with a tight band that stops the blood supply to the tail, causing it to die and fall off—just so that the horses will look a certain way when hitched to a beer wagon."

The Kid has not yet responded. What's the Vegas line on him joining in? It's better than even money he tells 'em to go fuck themselves. Wouldn't that be nice?

  1. And Mike Rowe's TED talk shows how the scalpel method is much more humane than the rubber band. We have been docking animal ears and tails for generations, I'm sure the American Kennel Society told PETA to FOAD about doing it to dogs years ago. Bud didn't start the practice of docking Clydesdale tails, they are just the most public user of them.

PETA is desperate for relevance and Butt-wiper is a damaged brand. Frigg'n parasites.

    1. HA! I was calling it butt wiper 40 years ago and I didn't come up with it, just stole it. Don't forget Cueers (Coors), "it's the water".

  2. Please explain the sense of listening and or using the advise of unmitigated evil that is bereft of all truth?

  3. Just like docking the tails of cart-dogs like Rottweilers so that the tails don't get run over, draft horses also have this done.

I'll respect PETA more if they came out against late-term abortion and gender-affirming surgery of children.
