On Day Two...

...

...

I usually enjoy Gary Warvel's work. This one's a little harsh I think.
Juss' sayin' - I can't post stuff like this without some kinda disclaimer
or they'll say it's some kinda 'hate speech' shit.
...

Johnny Carson's original TONIGHT SHOW set just sold for $287,000
...

That's a Studebaker Golden Hawk. A guy that lived a couple houses up from me when I was a kid had one of these in his garage. I don't think I ever saw him drive it more than a couple times. If that car is still in that garage up in Newark, it's probably worth a nice chunk of change now...

Another party I wasn't invited to damnit...

...

In an effort to recapture some of it's market share
it lost after that tranny fuck-up, Bud is reaching
back to it's 1936 campaigns to get men back drinking
it's swill. Probably ain't gonna work.
...

That's subtle. I like subtle.

  2. Studebaker should've stayed solely with their truck line and they might still have been in business. Being from Indy we had a lot of Stude's running around when I was a kid. Their cars always seemed to be behind or ahead of their time. The Avanti was a classic example of not being appreciated until after they were gone. And it sure didn't help that they were reduced to buying their engines from GM

those "top 25 Websites": most use Yandex as a browser and Google as a search engine.
Gary Warvel's cartoons are all short, sweet, and have a very sharp needle-point; compared to some of his, this one ain't harsh.
NYC smog: if it ain't the Canadian wildfires blowing in now from the North, back in the day it used to be the refinery crap blowing in from New Jersey
    TNX fer today's commentary
