Democrats are happy, they do not need to obey any laws.

ReplyDeleteThe highest groups perceiving themselves as "a lot better" are Democrats 41%, Blacks 26%, and people with graduate school 25%. Only with the Democrats do more than half see themselves as better off ("a lot better" + "a bit better"). In all but 5 groups (the three previously mentioned plus women and age 30-44), at least half see themselves as worse off ("a lot worse" + "a bit worse").
ReplyDeleteThere's something wrong here: more Democrats think they're better off than any non-political group. Likewise, far more Republicans think they're worse off than any non-political group. Either they've merged two polls with different wording of the questions, one for political party, and one for all the other groups, or they let Democrats and Republicans skip the questions about sex, age, race, and education.
