I betcha Tony wouldn't want to go back to the City by the bay...

If Tony Bennett left his heart in San Fransisco,
somebody probably took a dump on it.
The city is a disaster zone...

With all the crime and filth and drug use and people shitting on the sidewalks, lack of law enforcement and general lack of business, San Fransisco's downtown area is a complete shithole. Every day there's a new announcement of another chain-store or elite retailer closing it's doors because of the unchecked criminal activity and general conditions in the city.
Nordstrom announced it as closing all of its San Francisco stores, blaming the 'changed dynamics' of the city which has seen numerous major chains turn-tail in the face soaring crime.
The retailer told employees it would not be renewing its leases at the Westfield Mall or at the Nordstrom Rack across the street. The mall location will shutter at the end of August, and the Rack store will remain open until July 1.
Nordstrom chief stores officer Jamie Nordstrom said the blamed state of San Francisco in recent years for reducing foot traffic 'and our ability to operate successfully.'
Rampant crime in downtown San Francisco has left numerous retailers throwing up their hands and moving out.

In April, Whole Foods announced it was closing its locations, while Anthropologie and Office Depot have also left. Remaining stores like Target have been reduced to locking up their entire stock to deter shoplifters.

Here's the First-Look Pics of Hulu's New 'Drag Me to Dinner' Series. It's destined to be in the TV Hall of Fame, to be sure. Didn'tja ever wonder who think's up shit like this? And of course, some executives and a shitload of other people have to approve of it before it gets made. I wonder what fuckin' planet these people live on, 'cause I sure as fuck ain't never seen 'em on this one. Juss' sayin'...

Seats in library of Alexandria, Egypt. How friggin' cool is that? A perfect example
of great design - when pleasing the eye is as important as functionality.

Commercial real estate just ain't the business it was cracked up to be. Major chains across the board are going belly-up all over the country, taking with them jobs and revenue for the landlords of commercial properties. Eventually, that's another bubble that's destined to burst.

People are idiots. We know that, don't we?

It's almost too easy to imagine that someone - somewhere - would be stupid enough to do that. Isn't that scary?

Ford is cutting the price of its electric SUV, the Mustang Mach-E again. Ford’s price cuts for the Mach-E come to $3,000 to $4,000 for most models, or about 6%. It’ll put the sticker price at between $43,000 and $60,000. It also said it would increase production of the Mach-E. I don't know that I've ever seen one - have you?

  1. 1) the library sofa is cool. Wonder if it's actual text?
    2) the blue check = no voting joke ... wonder if she'll get 11 years in jail for that, like Douglas Mackey did (I just found out he's another Florida Man. Figures.)
    3) I have seen a Mach-E in the same color as your pic. Whatever this ugly thing is, it is not a Mustang and I kind of resent Ford trying to usurp the glamour of the model name for this low rider electric Aztek.
    4) AI nuke codes: not hard to imagine; it's a guarantee they'll happen. Once again, the loonies will use a book or movie - 1983's War Games - not as the warning it was intended to be, but as an instruction manual. We've seen that how many times already? 1984, Idiocracy, Terminator, Soylent Green, The China Syndrome, ...

  2. First gun I ever bought was in a drug store in Bordentown NJ. I was 14. It was a Savage Model 24 in .22 mag/.410. It cost $35. I paid $5 per week on it until it was paid for. No sales tax, no forms, no nothing. I hitchhiked to Bordentown to pick it up and hitchhiked back home to Columbus with it. Owner just asked me if my parents knew I was buying it. I told him, yes and that was it. He wrapped it in brown paper and I was out the door. 1960, times were different then.

  3. So Kevin Costner quits Yellowstone because his wife was unhappy with him being gone. So she quits him because he's home now?

    Wimmen. Can't figure them out.

  4. Gun & Drug is a Blue Label Glock dealer. The first time I saw the sign on the side of the store I had to turn around and go take a look. It was fairly well stocked gun shop.

  5. The deeply troubling part of the voting story is that we ALL could see Biden trying to pull that crap and nobody stopping him. That is how f'd up our nation has become.
