McDonald's Corp is temporarily closing its U.S. offices this week as it prepares to inform corporate employees about its layoffs as part of a broader company restructuring, the Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday.

In an internal email last week to U.S. employees and some international staff, McDonald's asked them to work from home from Monday through Wednesday so it can deliver staffing decisions virtually, the report said. It is unclear how many employees will be laid off.

This is the tip of the iceberg. Between hi-tech layoffs and corporate down-sizing efforts becaus eof the tight economy, we could easily see a million good jobs lost this year alone. Just to parallel that with another fact from the Biden Disministration, probably three million illegals will enter the country at the same time.

We are so fucked. The country probably won't be able to get back on it's feet in my lifetime.

While going through the clusterfuck nightmare of having to make short-term travel plans to attend my brother's funeral in Ireland, I came across this little ditty that points out once again just how fucked up the world is today. With all else being equal, why is this airline charging a $49.00 upgrade so you won't have to pay for your $30.00 bag? I think they really do believe we are all that stupid.
