PG&E, along with Southern California Edison and San Diego Gas & Electric, have submitted a joint plan to levy an income-based fixed rate model, with higher-income residents paying higher rates while lower-income households would pay less. 

 

 

Think about this just for a minute or two and stop just before your brain explodes. These chuckleheads - for whatever reason - think it's okay for you to report your income to the power utilities so they'll figure out how much you should pay. 

Maybe after that you'have to file a 1040 at Dunkin so they'll know how much to charge you for your Boston Cream Donut (which are, by the way, fuckin' awesome - juss' sayin'...). How far up their collective asses are their collective heads in that collective communist state?

Best Buy has started slashing store jobs across the United States as the electronics retailer aims to cut costs and shift its business more towards e-commerce. Pretty soon you won't be able to find anyone but cashiers and Mexican floor moppers working anywhere in any stores,  where even if you do find somebody working the floor, he or she is absolutely clueless about anything they sell.

Best Buy at one point a few years ago had more than 90,000 employees in the United States and Canada, including about 58 percent full-time employees, 32 percent part-time workers and 10 percent seasonal staff.

Best Buy generated domestic online revenue of $5.14 billion, registering 13 percent drop, in 2022. Best Buy’s revenue from e-commerce business represented 38 percent of its total domestic revenue in 2022 versus 39.4 percent in 2021.

If people are okay with buying a 92" flat screen online, who can blame 'em?
