It's Race Day. Can I think of anything more exciting? Maybe there's a sewing bee on at the same time...

I'm not a big fan of motor sports, but almost all of my friends here are, and a bunch of 'em are going over today...

I get it. You're in a stadium-like facility that cost a fortune to get in, they won't sell beer and FORGET about getting something to eat in less than an hour, there are 140,000 like-minded fans there with you, you had to walk two miles from your car to get in to the building, and when It's time to go, it'll take you three more hours just to get out of the parking lot.
Oh, and if stay overnight on race night, the cheapest room at the shittiest hotel within 20 miles of the raceway'll cost you at least $ 600.00 for the one night. Sounds like fun, don't it?

And besides, most people are more interested in the
crashes then they are anything else. Juss' sayin'...

Former CEO Vince McMahon reportedly wants at least $9 billion in a potential sale of World Wrestling Entertainment. McMahon, who spent decades growing WWE into an entertainment giant, stepped away from the company last year amid investigations into allegations of sexual misconduct and millions of dollars attached to nondisclosure agreements.
While McMahon was still the controlling shareholder upon his retirement, his daughter Stephanie and Nick Khan were set to serve as co-CEOs after he stepped down. But in January, McMahon returned to serve on WWE's board weeks after the Wall Street Journal reported that he felt confident the allegations against him had "blown over" and he could return to the company.

of moving permanently to Malta.

See - one of my blogger buddies was thoughtful enough
to send me this so I'd know what I was up against other there.
Seems like it's starting to look better and better.
And it looks like I'm not alone in thinking about it...

They are big in Canada too. They used to run most of the strip clubs (and drug trade) on St. Catherine Street in Montreal.

    1. And the TV coverage is three hours of commercials, interrupted at intervals by an car race.

That's true - every woman in that picture won twice as many Nobel prizes as the best of the men :)
On average, women in that picture won 3.5 times as many Nobel prizes as the average Joe at the 5th Solvay conference :)))
