Thankfully, I'm allergic to MSG,
and I've learned not to trust -
or eat - anything that comes in a can...
(Credited in photo) - I'm always skeptical of anything that someone else has prepared - even when we eat in restaurants.
My ONE vice at home? Mary Kitchen corned beef hash, so I'm not one of the millions of Americans unwittingly consuming additives in their food that carry significant health risks, from various types of cancers to reduced fertility.
Several of these additives are banned in Europe, such as potassium bromate and titanium dioxide. Companies are able to infuse their products with thousands of additives with relative impunity thanks to a Food and Drug Administration rule that allows them to determine for themselves that an ingredient used is generally safe.
