This is a fascinating story about how the guys who fought
in the war came home and basically created an entire new indutry here at home.
Skiing had only been marginally popular with mostly rich and famous folks and Hollywood types before the war, but when these guys came home, there was a dynamic shift in the sport. It's a fascinating story, really.
