That's it. That's all I have to say about that...
The Bellamy salute was a palm-out salute created by James B. Upham as the gesture that was to accompany the American Pledge of Allegiance, which had been written by Francis Bellamy - who was a socialist.
It was also known as the "flag salute" during the period when it was used with the Pledge of Allegiance. Bellamy promoted the salute and it came to be associated with his name. Both the Pledge and its salute originated in 1892. Later, during the 1920s and 1930s, Italian fascists and Nazi Germans adopted a salute which was very similar, attributed to the Roman salute, a gesture that was popularly believed to have been used in ancient Rome.
This resulted in controversy over the use of the Bellamy salute in the United States. It was officially replaced by the hand-over-heart salute when Congress amended the Flag Code on December 22, 1942.
Betcha didn't know that, didja...

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation has paid off the mortgage for a Connecticut family of a police officer who fell in the line of duty. Police Sergeant Dustin Demonte, a ten-year veteran, was fatally shot while responding to a domestic violence incident in Bristol on October 12. He responded with two Bristol police officers, including Alex Hamzy, who was also shot and killed, and Alec Iurato, who sustained severe gunshot injuries and underwent surgery.
Tunnel to Towers is pretty much the only charity aside from St. Judes' that I would endorse or promote in any way. These are a bunch of truly 'stand-up' people who bring joy and relief to hunderds of families of men and women who've given their lives in the service of others.
Maybe you would consider making a small donation to this great organization. Find them here: https://t2t.org/

The struggle is real, my friends...
I don't know if Twitter or Fakebook have ever been able to make
the blind see, but they sure as fuck have enabled the dumb to speak.

Suffering once again from the laws of unintended consequences.
Walmart CEO Doug McMillon said stores could close if the rising tide of theft isn't stemmed. Customers and employees blame self-checkout, which Walmart has increasingly relied on, for theft. A theft expert said automation "inherently means there's going to be less eyes on a transaction." Did they really need an expert to tell them that?

This is credited as a 'TES-3 Mobile Soviet Nuclear Power Plant'. Any ideas why they'd want to have a nuke on wheels or if it even ever worked? That's some seriously crazy shit happening there.

NPR, which instituted a near-total hiring freeze last month, is taking another drastic step to save money by canceling its prestigious summer internship program.
I don't feel bad that I don't feel bad about this - or for that matter anything that happens to these leftie/commie/uberlib jerkoffs. They've destroyed a once great institution and now they're paying the price for their jerkoffedness.
Facing $10 million in budget cuts, NPR has axed their summer internship program - a program that didn't cost them hardly anything at all to run and garnered them dozens of low- and no-pay employees.
Brilliant move there, Skippy.

Does someone you know deserve
something a little 'special' this year?
Christmas isn't that far off - you still have time.
Click on the picture for information on this beautiful handmade bracelet.
It's only $ 55.00 and that price includes free shipping.
You can find something nice for Christmas for your
Mom, your wife, your daughter or your girlfriend right here:
Time is winding down to order stuff for Christmas. If any of you
have anything 'in your cart' on her website, you had better pull
the trigger in the next couple of days. She's selling out pretty fast
and having a hard time keeping up with demand.
I keep hoping - in my 'heart of hearts' (whatever the fuck that means) - that people wouldn't be stupid enough to pay this much for some meat that's gonna come in the mail at an exhorbitant price, but I'll betcha they sell 10,000 of these fuckin' things. Sad but true.
The same roast is available at Sam's Club or Costco for around $ 12.00 a pound, but the you'd have to actually drive to the store, wouldn't you? Jeez.
