Ford describes the new 'electric' S650 Mustang as "edgy, sexy and disruptive" - words that, when said in a PR context, typically betray that the product in question is none of those things.
This new Mustang may look familiar, but it's changed. It receives new sheet metal with a sharper, more muscular and modern appearance, and it's becoming a bit more tech-savvy, but it's still more or less the same Mustang in the ways that count, it just doesn't have that distinctive Mustang 'growl' you've come to know and admire...

Are you in to grillin' and chillin'? Yeah, thought so...
You gotta try this sauce my friend makes in small batches. It's only available in very limited quantities and very few stores in NJ and Pa. Click on the picture for ordering info:
What I find interesting about the all electric cars with multi motors that make them very quick off the line is that the acceleration is not a linear curve The quicker it gets the slower it accelerates. The 0-60 times are blazingly quick but it takes longer to go from 60 to 90 than the 0-60 time. It also takes more time to go 90-115 than it does 0-90.
ReplyDeleteI hope the Mustang keeps the current engine line-up. What would be interesting is a 7.3L Godzilla tuned to 500 hp wedged into the engine bay.
