A massive alligator was seen Tuesday morning slowly sauntering in the grass alongside a road in Katy, Texas - a city just west of Houston. The 11-foot, 400-pound reptile was trapped by Texas Parks and Wildlife around 11:30 a.m. Neighbors said the alligator had been strolling through the neighborhood since at least 5 a.m.
The animal was taken to a sanctuary in El Campo, but not before area officials had some social media fun. “His chip says he’s y’all’s Fulshear Police! Where do you want him dropped off?” Norvell wrote in a follow-up Facebook post, tagging the department located southeast of Katy.
“That little rascal! Where have you been. Bad boy! Thanks, please throw him in the bed of our high water rescue truck…” Fulshear Police commented back.

Do those in-duh-viduals casually taking pictures know how fast a gator can go when it's motivated?
