She reminds me of Nancy talking about Obamacare - and that's not a good thing...

This scene remind you of what I mean?

A day after she blamed judges for rising crime in New York City, Gov. Kathy Hochul on Thursday ruled out any serious discussion of changes to state bail laws until January at the earliest.
The decree comes despite ongoing calls for action from Mayor Eric Adams, a fellow Democrat, as well as from small business owners and her Republican challenger amid rampant crime, often committed by repeat offenders.
“I’m willing to revisit everything, but let’s see whether or not the system can start functioning the way we intended,” Hochul told reporters at an Albany press conference. “The legislature meets again next January and by that time we’ll be able to assess the real impact of our changes,” she added.
That timeline leaves current laws in place ahead of the Nov. 8 election pitting Hochul against Republican Rep. Lee Zeldin, who has made toughening up the state’s criminal justice system a key plank of his candidacy.

In other words, she can't or won't tell you what she'll do as Governor util you elect her Governor. Is that about right ma'am?
The balls on some of these women - jeezzzzzz...

This is the missile they used to kill that camel jockey the other day. It doesn't so much explode on impact as much as it does a roto-rooter Cuisinart blender deal on whoever it hits. They probably be picking up pieces of that towel head for another three weeks. Isn't it amazing the crazy weaponry shit we're capable of coming up with? That's some seriously sinister shit right there...

This is the house I grew up in in Newark, NJ. All told, there were as many as 12 of us living in that house at any given time. Four very small bedrooms and only one full bathroom on the second floor (there was a second shitter down in the basement laundry room).
For some reason though - and I'm sure you all feel the same way if you've revisited your own childhood home -I remember it being so much bigger than it actually is. This, in spite of it being a two-story house, is actually a very small footprint house. What great memories...

It's easy - she agreed to vote yes on this ridiculous bill if they'd remove the thing about taxing the 'carried interest', which doesn't effect any one of us in any way - it would have only been a tax effecting hedge funds and the ultra-wealthy (at least that's how I read it). Helluva job there Kyrsten...
Senate Democratic leaders say they have reached an agreement on the party’s major climate and economic bill with Kyrsten Sinema – the centrist Democrat whose opposition remained a major hurdle to passing the most ambitious US climate legislation yet.
Sinema, the Arizona senator seen as the pivotal vote, said in a statement that she had agreed to eleventh-hour changes in the measure’s tax and energy provisions and was ready to “move forward” on the bill.
She said Democrats had agreed to remove a provision raising taxes on “carried interest,” or profits that go to executives of private equity firms. That’s been a proposal she has long opposed, though it is a favorite of other Democrats, including the conservative West Virginia Democratic senator Joe Manchin, an architect of the overall bill.
They have the balls to call tis piece of legislative garbage the 'Inflation Reduction Bill', in spite of the fact  that it will most likely increase inflation, but I'm not an economist, so what the fuck do I know...

Watch out for the shooting stars coming your way in the next few weeks. The most popular meteor shower, known as the Perseids, is about to reach its peak - with up to 100 meteors per hour.
The Perseids are annual and are active between July and September. The warm summer weather makes it easier to be outdoors for viewing.
The Perseids will peak Aug. 13 and be most visible in the Northern Hemisphere in the hours before dawn, but might be seen as early as 10 p.m. A bright, full moon will appear during the shower, which could affect visibility.
This meteor shower is known for what scientists call fireballs, which NASA describes as "larger explosions of light and color that can persist longer than an average meteor streak."

The monkeypox outbreak that has infected more than 6,600 people in the United States is a public health emergency, the Biden administration declared Thursday, a move that could make it easier to tap funding and wield the federal bureaucracy to combat the once-rare disease.
The declaration came more than a week after the head of the World Health Organization, on July 23, said the "extraordinary” situation qualifies as a global emergency.
The administration has been criticized for not moving more quickly – repeating some of the same mistakes that plagued the U.S. response to COVID-19 – and Thursday's move is intended to help get ahead of the virus spread.
While the disease is being transmitted primarily among men who have sex with men, former U.S. Surgeon General Jerome Adams told USA TODAY July 21 it's only a matter of time before the outbreak spreads in the population more broadly.

This is why I rarely - if ever - repost bullshit, nonsensical memes here on the blog that I've seen somewhere else. You should never believe all the crap you see on sites like Fakebook, Instagram and Twitface. WTF is a 'Universitite'? These things are 110% Bullshit. If that's the kind of 'Universitite' they learn spelling in, they can keep them.
