Trying to stay positive in a negatively charged world? Good luck with that, Bubba...

There are times - like recently - when I just don't want to read the news. I haven't watched TV news in maybe ten years...
I don't wanna sound all fuckin' Debbie Downer on ya here, but the news has pretty much become nothing more than a bunch of talking heads talking shit and telling you their opinion of what may or may not have happened. Who needs that bullshit?

...

Pay very close attention to the words he uses.

Brian Deese is Biden's chief financial adviser and Director
of the National Economic Council. Previously, he was
global head of 'sustainable investing' at BlackRock.

People killed in Chicago. Shooting in Denmark. Glacier kills people in Italy. Father drowns in San Francisco. Prince Charles took a bribe.
Blah, blah, blah. Why does anyone think I need to know that shit?
My bad, there's probably all kinds shit on here you could say the same thing about!

Just to reiterate what I've said before, I have no control over where they choose to place the ads within the blog body, so some times they show up in fucked-up places. Nothing I can do about that.
I can - to a small degree - control what ads you do see, but the only recourse I have is that I have to see the stupid shit myself to know what is and isn't dumbass.
I can not see what ads they put on your system, because your own searches determine that. Juss' sayin'...

4th of July at the Jersey Shore...
...

This looks kinda vaguely familiar, doesn't it? Well, it's not like anything you've ever seen before. It's the surface of the planet Mars. Pretty cool, huh?

And you wonder why cities like Orlando are so fucked up these days. Look at the idiots that are running them...

The city of Orlando, Florida, has apologized over a statement made while promoting its Fourth of July fireworks special that said it "can't blame" people who don't "want to celebrate our nation right now."
"A lot of people probably don't want to celebrate our nation right now, and we can't blame them," the original statement said. "When there is so much division, hate and unrest, why on earth would you want to have a party celebrating any of it?"
"But in all seriousness, you know in your heart, Fourth of July fireworks are amazing, especially when you are standing in 90° heat, 100% humidity, next to 100,000 of your closest friends," the statement continued. "In that moment, something takes over and we all become united in an inexplicable bond. Yes, America is in strife right now, but you know what...we already bought the fireworks."
What a bunch of screaming liberal jerkoffs.
And we let these people educate our children.
Seriously.

People talk about how much money has been lost in the Crypto markets of late. Nothing's been lost. It just changed hands...

Cryptocurrency hedge fund Three Arrows Capital (3AC) filed for Chapter 15 bankruptcy in a bid to protect its US assets from creditors in the country, as reported earlier by Bloomberg and CNBC. Representatives for the Singapore-based company made the filing in a Southern District New York court on Friday, which legally protects the US assets of insolvent foreign debtors from creditors in the US.
Founded in 2012 by Kyle Davis and Su Zhu, 3AC managed about $10 billion in assets as recently as March, later sinking to $3 billion in April. Like several other crypto firms, including the lending giants Celcius and Babel Finance, 3AC’s turn in fortunes is part of the so-called crypto “winter” that’s brought down stablecoins and sent Bitcoin’s value plunging.

The driver of a jet-powered semitruck died when the vehicle crashed in a fiery accident in Michigan on Saturday.
Battle Creek police identified the victim as Chris Darnell, 40, who was behind the wheel of the Shockwave Jet Truck when it raced through or by an explosion and appeared to be in flames, producing a streak of smoke and debris recorded on video.
It wasn't clear if that first burst of flames, which created a cloud of black smoke, was part of the expected display at the annual Battle Creek Field of Flight Air Show and Balloon Festival. The state government's website promotes the event and notes that it features "pyro and the WALL OF FIRE."
Two prop planes were performing aerial tricks and flying low above the truck as it raced down a runway at the Battle Creek Executive Airport when the accident happened.

  1. The crash of Shockwave is a dead solid bummer. I saw it several times while I was stationed at Point Mugu, CA, and the last time our squadron was supplying support for it and Wes Shockley, so I got within arm's length of it.
