Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer has tested positive for COVID-19 and reports experiencing very mild symptoms, his spokesman said Sunday night. Schumer, 71, is fully vaccinated and has received two booster shots, spokesman Justin Goodman said in a statement.
The New York Democrat will follow federal health guidelines and quarantine this week while working remotely, Goodman said.
I try not to speak ill of anyone as much as I can, but I made an exception in his case many moons ago, the miserable fuck.

The bill was introduced after the Social Security Administration said that Americans would no longer receive benefits in 13 years if congressional lawmakers do not address the funding shortage.
The new bill would allot $200 more per month for each Social Security recipient - a 12% boost in money. According to the Social Security Administration, Social Security benefits have increased by 5.9% - the largest increase since 1982.
“Many, many seniors rely on Social Security for the majority, if not all, of their income,” Martha Shedden, president of the National Association of Registered Social Security Analysts, told CBS News. “$200 a month can make a significant difference for many people.”
If this bill is passed - as it is expected to - it will add $ 300 billion a year to the national deficit, because the good Senator from Vermont has no way to pay for it, except on the backs of our children and grandchildren. That's very nice of him to do so. I'm sure it will get him a lot of votes...

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg on Sunday defended protesters against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh who gathered earlier this week outside Morton’s steakhouse, where he was eating dinner.
Reports emerged on Friday that Kavanaugh exited the back of the D.C. restaurant Wednesday night to avoid the protesters, who were demanding that management kick him out.
Buttigieg’s husband, Chasten, tweeted in response to the news: “Sounds like he just wanted some privacy to make his own dining decisions,” a shot toward Kavanaugh’s vote to overturn Roe v. Wade last month, ending a woman’s constitutional right to an abortion.
During an appearance on “Fox News Sunday,” moderator Mike Emanuel asked Buttigieg if his husband’s tweet about the incident was “appropriate.” “Look, when public officials go into public life, we should expect two things. One, that you should always be free from violence, harassment, and intimidation,” Buttigieg replied. “And two, you’re never going to be free from criticism or peaceful protest, people exercising their First Amendment rights.”
So - if you were to go up to Mayor Pete while he was breast-feeding his toddler and piss on his shoes, would you be covered by your 1st Amendment rights?
