Yup, he’s for real. Got elected to North Pole city council a while back. It’ll be an interesting election… (And yes, I actually do live here; have since 1995.)
ReplyDeleteYou are correct, Santa Claus is running for the Alaska Congressional seat. However, it is a stretch to say he is running against Sarah Palin, as there are 46 others running. At one point there were 51 running but a few have dropped out. Wish I had thought to run, just some paperwork and $100 and I could say "I once ran for Congress." I could've included it in by bio for my next high School reunion. ;-)
