An 'alleged' (don't you love how some media outlets hate to convict
someone before the fact if they're NOT a Republican?) drunk driver accused of killing two Pennsylvania state troopers and the pedestrian the duo were helping recently boasted to her Twitter followers she was the “best drunk driver ever.”
Jayana Tanae Webb, 21, faced three counts of third-degree murder after prosecutors said she mowed down troopers Branden Sisca, 29, and Martin Mack III, 33, along with pedestrian Reyes Rivera Oliveras, 28, on the shoulder of I-95 Monday night in Philadelphia.
The deadly crash unfolded as troopers were responding to a call of a person walking in the southbound lanes of the busy interstate highway near the Broad Street exit, the station said.
Webb allegedly admitted to driving under the influence and reportedly cried as she was arraigned on 18 felony counts, including two counts of manslaughter of a law enforcement officer.
Just a secondary thought about something trivial here:
Where the fuck do you come up with a name like Jayana?
I tried Googling it and looking the dictionary and nothing came up but this broad. It's a name/a word that didn't exist before she was born.
I swear to god, these people must grab a handful of Scrabble tiles and then figure out what name they can invent with them Juss' sayin'...
(For the record, I did find this: Jemima Annor Yeboah, better known by the stage name Jayana, is a Ghanaian contemporary gospel singer, songwriter and entrepreneur. She was adjudged the female vocalist of the year in 2020 at the Ghana Urban Gospel Music Awards, so it must be an African thing.)
Knowing the Liberal attitudes here in PA and especially Phila, I'm sure she'll get a slap on her wrist.
ReplyDeleteAs far as how stupid names get picked in a certain ethnic community, the best one I ever saw was "L-a". It's pronounced El dash a, according to the mother.
ReplyDeleteI used to say it was a case of "Momma, de dawg ate de Scrabble set yestiddy an' now I know what to name de baby" but somebody pointed out where you could find a Scrabble set around that bunch.
