  1. I am 67 years old. I have yet to encounter a left handed catchers mitt. I asked the school to buy one, and they would not. You have to catch the ball in your left hand, remove the glove, throw the ball. Your classmates throw a busy fit. I intend to leave a small bequeathment in my will for the local school, to be spent on left handed scissors and baseball gloves.

  2. I used to put on the right handed mitt on my right hand....it worked....sometimes the best I could hope for was to knock the ball down, but, hey, righties have that problem...." the best way to catch a knuckleball is to wait for it to stop rolling and pick it up"...Bob Eucker...
