I haven't heard any discussion about this virus effecting animals. Maybe the answer lies there...
It certainly feels as if it's killed more businesses than people.
The producers of Broadway’s “Jagged Little Pill” said Monday that they decided to shut down
the musical amid the latest COVID-19 surge.
“In light of the extreme uncertainty ahead of us this winter, and forced to choose between continuing performances and protecting our company, we’ve made the difficult decision to close our doors,” producers Vivek Tiwary, Arvind Ethan David and Eva Price said in a statement.
The show had been suspended on Thursday after “multiple” members of the cast and crew tested positive for coronavirus. “Jagged Little Pill” ran on Friday but quickly needed to cancel through Tuesday’s performance due to the virus.
“The drastic turn of events this week with the rapid spread of the Omicron variant has, once again, changed everything,” the producers said.

I'm not anti-union by any means, but this is exactly why sausages and bills should never be scrutinized too heavily. You gotta know there was some provision in the bill to bail out the miners after Biden and the progressives shut down their mines and crushed their lives.

I am certainly all-in-favor of artwork that can enhance a dull landscape or vista, but this one's got me a little flummoxed. Does it/will it look just as good if you look at it from any other angle but this one? I would think it would look distorted from any other angle. Wudda you guys think?

These SadSack, bad news bears motherfuckers have been chomping at the bit to be able to report the first death from this. That's just fuckin' sickening, isn't it? And yet we somehow tolerate it. Juss' sayin'...

So far, Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story hasn’t had audiences pirouetting and finger-clicking their way to cinemas. There are plenty of reasons why; the main one relating to a certain global pandemic. But one explanation that keeps being proffered is that viewers are simply sick of remakes – and it’s not entirely wrong. Hollywood still has no qualms about bringing back its vintage franchises, of course. But as the imminent returns of The Matrix, Scream, Top Gun, Indiana Jones, Hocus Pocus and Legally Blonde demonstrate, the fashionable way to cash in on a venerable intellectual property is to hire as many of the original cast members as you can and to pick up where you left off. Sequels are in; remakes are out.

Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix when they first met back in 1967.

Probably jerking off in public like he did to get discharged from the Army
Sorry Joe, I'm not a big Hendrix fan
Everybody's gotta not like something, right? Just talked about that same subject when I saw my wife putting pickles on a tuna sandwich - WTF is that all about?

Delete1. it's also possible that 'Jagged Little Pill' has zero to no receipts
ReplyDelete2. In 20-25 years (I'll no longer be around) everybody'll be laughing at the idiots of the '20s: turning the common cold into a "death virus"
3. why would a pretty naiad wear all that bling-bling to go swimming?
4. WWWTKT (What's Wrong With The Kids Today) 95% of the guys in my HS class ('58 - not flyover, but an ex-urban/semi-rural truck farming NE/mid-Atlantic community) were only too willing and knew they were going to write Uncle Sam a blank check at some point in their lives; we had no desire to evade the draft; we really felt sorry for the guys who 4-F'ed out.
